When is the best time for photos in Sarasota?

For beach sessions, the hour before sunset is unbeatable — soft light and pastel skies over the Gulf. Downtown bayfront sessions also shine at dusk, when the marina lights come on.

Lido Beach and Bayfront Park are the two most popular choices, with Ken Thompson Park a close third. We’ll pick the spot that fits your session, and you’ll get parking and meeting details ahead of time.

Light neutrals and soft pastels work beautifully on the sand, while richer tones photograph well downtown and under the banyans. Every session includes a style guide to make outfits easy.

Four to six weeks ahead is the sweet spot, especially for sunset dates in spring and around the holidays. Reach out even for short notice — openings do pop up.

Sarasota storms usually clear as quickly as they arrive, so we track the forecast together before making any calls. When the weather truly won’t budge, we simply reschedule to the next great evening.
